I still prefer to spend around $50 or less if I can, but it seems that with the mini I'll be forced to go for something twice as expensive.Prog. One has a Creative X-Fi of some type and he is quite happy with it, and he might well say the same as BlackBill, but if someone comes to me and The Samson is awesome so I'm not sweating that issue. Each mode of operation programs the card specifically for the job at hand.

The problem here is that there are a select few that have a bad taste in their mouth over Creative's history and won't let go of it. Programs that are written to take advantage of the custom processing the X-Fi devices offer can really do some incredible things. It becomes pretty much a straight in/out card, much like my old m audio card. I'd like Durin to test my card, the newer release of it which will have the Windows Vista sticker added to the box. All rights reserved . You are free to believe as you wish. Of course, this was just a comparison, in real life ASIO most likely works completely different way, but I was under impression there might be a possibility this is true. and/or E-mu Systems Inc., including the SoundBlaster Live!
